Kristy followed her out. Kristy, also mad that she got past security and was trespassing, didn't say much but stood back and let Kristen take care of it, after all it was her horse.
Ashley fell off of the fence but stood up quickly, scared and unsure of what to say. Also not knowing that it was her sister. "Sorry" she mumbled. Then she noticed it was Kristen. Her face, now not so scared, lit up. "Kristen!" she cried happily and ran over to her.

ready to sock the girl in the face, i huffed irritatedly when the girl fell off, only to say 'sorry.' who are you- i was cut off, alarmed that it was ashley! ashley?! i said, confused and happy at the same time. i helped her up, hugging her. how in the world did you get here?! ren trotted over curiosly, standing by kristy at the fence and nudged her arm.

"Is that really important?" she asked with a suspicious tone. "But i found you! geez i though it would take you know another couple days..maybe weeks!" she said hugging her back.

i glanced quickly over at kristy, mouthing a quick 'sorry', then looking back at ashley. well, what are you doing here? aren't you supposed to be back in cali with aunt alayna? i said, filled with mixed emotions, but mostly happiness. but i was confused on why, even how, she got across the country to kentucky.

Kristy nodded. Aknowledging her sorry. She didn't mind much anymore, at least Kristen knew the girl.
"Well, yeah. But she went over to Arizona for a show and left me with Cousin Harold. And you know how Harold is....so i kinda....left." she said looking down at her toes. "He probably hasn't even noticed yet. And I left like..5 days ago." she said looking up at Kristen's face now.

i watched my younger sister, knowing now that this would be a handful. but we always got along, usually. listening, i nodded my head slightly. yeah, thats harold for you. well, your more than likely to stay. i got a job here as an exercise rider, too. i said, smiling slightly, though i still needed to get an apartment.

"Really? Your not going to send me back to California? THATS GREAT!!" she exclaimed happily. She didn't care where they lived. She got to stay and that was the greatest. And now she could be with Ren again. And maybe she could get a job too. Earn some money and get a horse of her own. If Kristen let her that is.

i shrugged slightly. sure, i don't mind, and im sure alayna and harold don't either. i looked over at kristy again then back to ashley. well, i think i better get to work. im going to take ren out for a spin on the track to show kristy how he is.

She nodded her head rapidly. "I'll come too" she said and walked over to Ren again. She pet his soft muzzle. She could stay. And now she would have to find a job too. Kristen wouldn't pay for everything she needed. Well, she could worry about that later.

nodding slightly, i went over to the gate, taking the lead rope off. whistling to the colt, i clipped it onto his halter and led him out. going back towards the trailer where his tack was, i tied him to the side. hey ashely, could you go into the front compartment of the trailer and get his racing saddle and white bridle? i asked, grooming him quick and thoroughly.
